Why it exists
Many people want to keep a daily Nitnem or work through a Sehaj Path and run into the same few obstacles. Uncertainty about pronunciation. Losing the place while a recording plays on. Not knowing what a line means. No Gutka Sahib to hand when travelling. No way to hold a routine together.
Each of the three tools takes one of those directly. None of them asks you to register, and none of them collects anything about you.

Ask something in plain English or Punjabi. The answer comes back quoted from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji with the Ang cited, so you can go and read the passage for yourself.
It searches around sixty thousand verses and answers only from what it finds. When the corpus does not address a question, it says so rather than filling the gap. It is built and running, and not yet open to the public.

Gurmukhi is quoted exactly as it appears in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, the translations are the ones published with the corpus, and the Ang is given so you can check. Each one is written in English and Punjabi, and read by a person before it goes up.

Gurbani text is taken from the BaniDB API by the Khalis Foundation. Translations shown are the ones published with that corpus, including the Bhai Sahib Singh teeka. Nothing is retyped, and no translation is written by us or by a model.
Recitations are sourced from publicly available recordings, including those by Bhai Jarnail Singh Ji, Giani Mehnga Singh Ji and Giani Thakur Singh Ji, and are used solely for devotional, non-commercial purposes. If you hold rights to a recording used here and want it removed, please write and it will be taken down promptly.
