Answer
What does Gurbani say about lust?
In short
Gurbani almost never speaks about lust on its own. It belongs to a set of five, named together so often that the grouping is itself the teaching: kaam, krodh, lobh, moh and ahankar. They are called thieves, and the metaphor is exact. A thief lives inside the house, takes what belongs to you, and works quietly. The harm described is to the person carrying them rather than to a rule that has been broken, and they are subdued through the Guru's Shabad, not by force of will.
Gurbani names the group before it says much about any member of it.
eis dhehee a(n)dhar pa(n)ch chor vaseh kaam karodh lobh moh aha(n)kaaraa
Within this body dwell the five thieves: sexual desire, anger, greed, emotional attachment and egotism.
Five, listed in order, and all of them resident. Guru Nanak Dev Ji uses the same figure with a detail that changes the tone:
Ang 503. They have been warned, and they still steal. Guru Ram Das Ji says what they take:
Ang 1178. Not money. The wealth of the Name.
That is the first thing to notice. The damage described is always to the person carrying them.
kaam karodh kaiaa kau gaalai
Unfulfilled sexual desire and unresolved anger waste the body away,
Guru Nanak Dev Ji says the body is wasted, not that a law has been broken. He uses a harsher image elsewhere,
Ang 24, and Guru Arjan Dev Ji addresses kaam directly in the Sahaskriti Salok:
Ang 1358. Even there, the charge is what it does to the one it inhabits.
Guru Nanak Dev Ji gives the clearest statement of the mechanism, and the word he chooses is deliberate.
kaam karodh a(n)tar dhan hirai
Sexual desire and anger steal the wealth of the self within.
Steal. Not damage, not offend. Something that was yours is being removed from inside, quietly, and the thief has an address in your own body. The whole metaphor is built to place the problem inside rather than outside, which is the same move Gurbani makes with anger, greed and ego.
On what to do, the verses are consistent and they rule out one obvious approach. Guru Arjan Dev Ji poses the question:
Ang 1140, establishing that nothing else is possible while the five are loose. And Guru Ram Das Ji names the means:
Ang 1135. Through the Guru's Shabad the Lord drives them out. The person is not the one doing the driving.
Guru Nanak Dev Ji describes the settled result, and it is worth reading closely.
dhaavat pa(n)ch rahe ghar jaaniaa kaam karodh bikh maariaa
The five restless desires are restrained, and he knows the home of his own heart. He conquers sexual desire, anger and corruption.
The five restless ones are restrained, and he knows the home of his own heart. Notice the order. Recognising the home and stilling the five are the same event, not two separate achievements. In Gurbani kaam is not defeated by fighting it. It stops when the person is finally somewhere.

eis dhehee a(n)dhar pa(n)ch chor vaseh kaam karodh lobh moh aha(n)kaaraa
kaam karodh kaiaa kau gaalai
kaam karodh a(n)tar dhan hirai
dhaavat pa(n)ch rahe ghar jaaniaa kaam karodh bikh maariaa
